Chris Woerts reported news about ADO Den Haag on Monday evening in the program Today Inside.
According to Woerts, 54-year-old Lee-Roy Echteld, the current trainer of second divisionist De Treffers from Groesbeek, will succeed Dick Advocaat as the new trainer and Mark Ruyl, the current head of scouting at Feyenoord, would become ADO’s new technical director.
Echteld himself previously played for Heerenveen, AZ, RKC Waalwijk and Heracles. The 54-year-old Amsterdammer ended his active football career at the latter club.
Since 2009 he has been a trainer of various clubs. He was, among other things, youth coach and assistant coach of AZ and assistant coach of PEC Zwolle and FC Emmen
ADO has not yet confirmed the news. So we wait to see if this is true, because it is still a rumor. It is known that the owner would not want to come out with this kind of thing until after the season.
Both Echteld and his current club the Treffers informed the media on Monday that they had not heard from ADO.
