One person and two dogs died in a fire in Buchten in Limburg

In the Limburg village of Buchten, someone was injured in a house fire that broke out around 06.00 this morning in an apartment complex. The emergency services also took a second victim to the hospital for a check-up and the South Limburg Security Region informed NOS that two dogs also died in the fire.

The fire service evacuated ten homes due to the smoke development and cordoned off the area. In addition, residents in the area have been advised to close windows and doors. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
