HTC was extremely popular with many consumers in the early days of Android. There was a time when everyone wanted a smartphone from HTC. For example, the company launched the Nexus One with Google and the HTC Desire, while people may also know the Touch HD before that. Where HTC conquered the market very quickly, the fall of the company was perhaps even greater. Several years ago, most of the team moved to Google to work on the Pixel phones. However, the manufacturer now comes with a new smartphone: the HTC U23 Pro.
Although the company itself no longer has a smartphone department and this device is therefore made by another company that uses the brand name, it is good to see that the brand still continues to exist. The HTC U23 Pro looks like a nice midranger and is also coming to our country. HTC even has a Dutch page on the website about the device. The HTC U23 Pro has a 6.7″ FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB expandable storage memory. The 4,600 mAh battery is 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The device is suitable for 5g, supports bluetooth 5.2 and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of cameras, the device has a 108-megapixel main camera with OIS and EIS with 4K HDR video recordings, we also find an eight-megapixel ultrawide, five-megapixel macro and two-megapixel depth sensor on the device. You can take selfies at the front with the 32-megapixel front camera. Android 13 is present, but what about the update policy is still unclear.
