It’s almost Christmas and then we like to make something extra delicious. For everyone to enjoy, this gluten-free, sugar-free chocolate cherry pie is an excellent idea. Delicious with coffee, but also delicious as a dessert.

How do you make this gluten-free, sugar-free, chocolate cherry pie?
Even if you eat low carbohydrates, this sugar-free chocolate cherry pie is a great choice.
What do you need to make this super tasty cake?
- 20 unsulphured apricots
- bowl of cherries
- 200 grams of almond flour
- cup of sour cream
- 200 grams of dark chocolate, of which at least 72 percent cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- pinch of baking soda
- agar powder (swallow globe brand agar agar powder)
- stevia to taste (Don’t like the bitter taste? The natural sugar substitute erythritol might suit you better).
Soak the apricots in 300 ml water for about an hour. Drain half of the water and puree the apricots with a hand blender.
Crumble the chocolate in a saucepan, add a little water and melt over a low heat.
Put the eggs in a bowl and mix with the almond flour, apricot puree, cinnamon and stevia until a homogeneous mass. If it is too dry you can add a splash of water. Then add the melted chocolate.
Put the cake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for about 30 minutes.
You let the cake cool down and put it in the fridge.

Meanwhile, you pit the cherries, cook them in the pan until tender and add some stevia or erythritol to taste. You also add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon through it. Finally, add a little agar agar. Mix everything well again. Let it cool well.
When the cake is quite cold, cut the cake in half through the middle. Cover the halves with sour cream and a little of the cherry mixture without cherries. Then you put them back together.
Spread the cherry mixture on top of the cake.
And the chocolate cherry pie is ready. Enjoy now!
