The Netflix series is far from over Ginny & Georgia. The streaming service has announced that there are at least two more seasons to come. The series already has two at the moment and could count on a lot of positive reactions, especially in the last season. It is striking that Netflix is immediately working on two new seasons, while other series are disappearing.
At the beginning of this year, Netflix released the long-awaited second season of the drama series Ginny & Georgia. The first season already dated from 2021, which meant that fans had to wait almost two years for the sequel. But the wait turned out to be worth it, because the second season broke pots and received positive reviews and reactions everywhere. Still, there was no talk of a sequel. Until now, because Netflix announced that the series will get not one but two new seasons.
Ginny & Georgia
In the mother and daughter drama Ginny & Georgia stars Antonia Gentry as the anxious and clumsy fifteen-year-old Ginny Miller. She often feels she can’t measure up to her thirty-year-old mother, the irresistible Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey).
After growing up constantly moving, Georgia is desperately trying to settle down in picturesque New England and give her family something she never had… a normal life. But Georgia’s past haunts them, threatening her and her family’s fresh start. Eventually, the relationship between Ginny and Georgia is also jeopardized when Ginny learns that Georgia has a murder on her conscience.
Third and fourth season
To resolve the cliffhanger of the second season, Netflix has finally decided to continue the series. And that will not come in the form of one season, but two. So will Ginny & Georgia ended up counting four seasons. That is also the number that the showrunners had in mind before the start of the series. So there is a good chance that the fourth will be the last.
