Manchester United are actually considering a new contract for Lisandro Martínez. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports on a potential new deal on Thursday evening.
Argentinian very popular in Manchester
The DailyStar recently announced an upcoming contract extension for Martínez. Romano now writes that Manchester United are actually considering this after an ‘impressive season’, but no formal talks are taking place at the moment. That is not yet the case.
Martínez made the switch from Ajax to Manchester United last summer. After a difficult start, the Argentinian defender has become one of the strongholds of the team. He’s even a serious contender for the Matt Busby Player of the Year award.
At the moment Martinez is not available for Manchester United. The South American was recently injured in the Europa League match with Sevilla (2-2).
