7 x sugar-free and alcohol-free cocktails recipe | Ready in 5 minutes

If you want to drink something different or want to cut down on alcohol and sugar, you can make a sugar-free and alcohol-free cocktail. Here are seven ideas for mocktails that don’t contain added sugars. This way you can enjoy a festive and healthy drink at a party.

  1. Tropical mocktail

By combining pineapple juice, lime juice and coconut milk, you can make a delicious tropical mocktail that is reminiscent of piña colada. The creamy taste of coconut milk goes well with the refreshing taste of lime and the sweetness of pineapple.

To make a true sugar-free mocktail, make sure the pineapple juice is unsweetened. The best is freshly squeezed pineapple juice, because it is guaranteed free of added sugar. The only sugars in this juice are natural sugars. You make it by squeezing fresh pineapple in a juicer.

If you like a cocktail with some body, you can add fresh cubes of pineapple. The whole has to be in the blender for a while to get an even structure.

If you want to consume less natural sugars because you are losing weight, you can replace the pineapple juice with coconut water. If you want a little more sweetness, you can add some maple syrup.

  1. Holistic mocktail

Do you want a cocktail that makes you completely ‘zen’? Then brew a pot of blood orange tea, let it cool down, add cranberry juice to taste and a teaspoon of Ashwagandha. You then have a relaxing drink with a fruity taste. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or mint leaves and enjoy!

  1. Mojito mocktail

Mojito but different. That is this sugar-free mocktail of pear, sparkling water and fresh mint and basil. To do this, pick a few leaves of mint and basil and put them in a glass with pear juice.

Stir the leaves into the pear juice with the back of a wooden spoon until you smell the spices. Strain the juice and top up with sparkling water and ice cubes.

You can use unsweetened pear juice for this. You can make this yourself in the juicer, but it can also be found in a good supermarket.

  1. Sugar-free mimosa

You can easily make a sugar-free and alcohol-free mimosa by replacing the champagne and Cointreau with coconut water and unsweetened cranberry juice. Add ice cubes and garnish with orange slices or fresh cranberries.

  1. virgin bloody mary

For a virgin Bloody Mary you use – just like with the traditional variant – tomato juice, celery, lemon, tabasco and cucumber. You also add salt and pepper. These are all healthy ingredients that are free of added sugars.

The only two ingredients you replace for a sugar and alcohol-free variant are vodka and Worcestershire sauce. You replace the first by using three times as much tomato juice.

You can replace the Worcestershire sauce with Coconut Worcestershire sauce. This sugar-free sauce gives a delicious sweet, spicy taste to the drink.

  1. Grapefruit mocktail

A sweet drink with a spicy twist of ginger. That’s this sugar-free grapefruit mocktail. You make it by mixing unsweetened grapefruit juice with ginger juice and 0% sugar-free ginger ale.

You can make both grapefruit juice and ginger juice in the juicer. All you have to do then is add ginger ale. Choose ginger ale sweetened with steviol glycosides.

Some brands add intensive sweeteners such as acesulfame-K or sucralose to their sugar-free ginger ale. It is better to avoid these sweeteners if you want to live a healthy life. They burden your body and can even be harmful to your health.

  1. Gin gin zero

You can make this sugar-free and alcohol-free variant of gin gin mule by using an alcohol-free bitter for Angostura bitters. You also choose an alcohol- and sugar-free variant for ginger beer. Here too, it is best to go for ginger beer that is sweetened with stevia.

You can also replace gin with an alcohol- and sugar-free version. This way you can make a delicious and healthy drink in no time. To your health!
